i started my period two days early. normally, i would be devastated and complain to my friends about how my week was ruined, but i’ve taken a step back and confronted these initial negative feelings because i've been trying genuinely love my period. i feel grateful that my body is working and cycling out what doesn’t serve me. i have PCOS, so i have a particularly hard time when i'm on my period, but i’m trying to have a different mindset when it comes to menstruating. i think it’s a beautiful cycle and not that having a period equates to femininity, but for me personally it makes me feel more feminine than i would usually. there’s something beautiful in the way the bodies of people who have periods work, and i wish that they weren’t so demonized. periods should be seen as symbols of renewal and strength, not as something shameful and disgusting as they’re often depicted in western culture. i've asked people in my life who go through the cycle of menstruation to share some things with me and i plan on writing an essay about it and making that the first one i post here!!
david jonsson as the new black panther and kit connor as cyclops!! i am so UP. i know doomsday is gonna be cheeks but i'm so excited to see them both in bigger roles nonetheless. i've been a big fan of david since the long walk and went back and watched a few of his movies (rye lane is my fav!!) so i'm really excited for him to be in such a big role so people can see how talented he is :)
praying for kit, though... seeing the way people were talking about cooper hoffman, i can only hope they'll be nicer to kit, but i doubt it. i haven't seen him in anything other than heartstopper and a few clips from his romeo and juliet show he did with rachel zeigler, but i'm sure he'll do really well as cyclops!!
trying to reduce my phone addiction and only use my phone when i'm not home and for phone calls. told my friends to start cold calling me if they wanna talk to me and i get two hours a day on tiktok & instagram. hopefully my plan works and i don't use my phone as much!!
finally committing to a jigsaw puzzle i've had for like 3 years T-T, im determined to finish it this time. trying to get back into my hobbies rather than doomscrolling all day. and i've been watching shows on full screen, not minimizing the screen while i play a game or scroll which sounds pathetic and lame but my adhd brain likes the dual stimulation </3. okay gonna fall asleep with my friend who we'll call sweety pie, goodnight chat <3.

starting a workout program soon and im so hype for it!! very excited about school starting too, especially since im on meds now. i will have NO set backs and i will pass and excell in all of my classes, mark my words. π€
really need to lock in for my birthday party, i haven’t even booked the place yet #stressed. i really have to save up for it omg, and just in general. after this 5sos concert im not doing ANYTHING. everyone is getting ONE present for christmas and that’s it, i need to get my money up and if that means sacrificing my humor then so be it. it’s getting serious.

i hate that i haven’t had the experience of a crush who could actually like me back or my first relationship yet. being 20 and having no romantic experiences makes me feel like spongebob when he had bad breath and thought everyone hated him cause he was ugly. and it would be tolerable if i at LEAST had the option to be out and try to meet other lesbians but i can’t. i feel stuck, lame, and old.

about to apply for fall semester classes, i pray to whoever is out there in the universe that i pass these classes with flying colors, i will be on my academic grind again this semester TRUST. i think im gonna do english and public speaking to ease myself back into things, i think those classes will be manageable to do while im working too. gotta tap into my inner s1 rory again.

been hitting the gym recently, trying to lose weight and tone up so i can get my breast reduction surgery before saturn's wedding next may, my legs H U R T. gonna try to stay consistent though, i need to get healthy for me too, not just her wedding. fyi keifer is gross as hell, dont try that mess. love greek yogurt though :) i guess i'll post gym updates on here too, maybe even some progress pics later on too.

put my two weeks in and it went smoothly, bubbline show announcement, nail appointment tomorrow, getting paid tomorrow, movies with saturn (code name for one of my bffs) on saturday, and bryce is miserable in casa amor so i consider that a win. #team brinity :p

i've been at this for HOURS, damn near all day and i still can't get the fuckass playlist to work. this is what i get for not paying attention in my sophomore year coding class. my plan is to update the playlisst on here with my monthly playlists so yall can listen to the songs i listen to when im posting on here, sigh, sad face emoji, i;ll figure it out eventually but i have work tomorrow... and im just now remembering that i still have to put my two weeks in :/
